Ienabled OpenVR in the graphics settings and I went through the configuration controls in settings so I know my wheels and pedals are detected and working fine. When I start a game though none of the buttons work. I try to press pedal or the gear shift up button and nothing happens. On the left side I see a menu with things like "Restart

AssettoCorsa Competizione IS playable with a gamepad/controller. You may still lose 90% of the simulation experience and 100% of the fun driving with anything other than a wheel. Pro sim racers go to extreme lengths to ensure they have the best sim racing setups to perform at the highest level. However, racing wheels are not cheap

Ifyou're on Windows 10, the OS might have automatically configured security on your "Assetto Corsa" folder in your Documents folder. You can Google how to check for and correct this kind of Win10 security and access control nonsense. Also make sure OneDrive has not grabbed hold of your Assetto Corsa folder or sub-folders.

InSettings/Assetto Corsa/Controls/System . I assigned a wheel button for Setup in Pits ( 7th option in the RACE paragraph ). This brings me automatically back to pits .. for sure in Practice and Qualify sessions ( not sure 100% it cannot be used in Race as I never use it in this case. )
Todo so: Press the Windows key to open the Start menu. Now, type Control Panel and open it from the search result. Open Uninstall a program > Click on the Assetto Corsa Competizione game from the list. Select Uninstall > Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation process. Goto Settings-Assetto Corsa-Controls-Patch. At the top select your input device eg Wheel or Gamepad. Then the first key in the bind list is Pause. Map that to a button on your Wheel or Gamepad so you can exit / return to pits etc. Then scroll down to . #3. Same, but I changed the buttons for the shoulder buttons as it should be. My only problem is that if you assign x and a then you have hard time managing in the pit stop window, because you use those buttons to confirm things. 0. m4zL2r.
