6. Ford Model: Mondeo. Posted January 24, 2013. This almost certainly isn't a hub nut issue unfortunately - They're tightened to over 300Nm, and they don't just work loose. What's likely to have happend is that the hub flange has worn and the hub nut will keep coming loose. If you don't replace the whole hub you'll eat wheel bearings and hub nuts.
The design of the lower grille was also refreshed with this facelifted MK4 model and blends into redesigned fog lamp surrounds. These required a slightly more sculpted bumper design that incorporates a more pronounced lower lip spoiler. Behind the wheel, as part of the facelift, detail changes were made to trim and dashboard architecture.
2,598. base of rear seats to boot = 450mm. top of rear seats to boot = 355mm (they angle backward) seats down to boot = 1725mm. width at narrowest point = 1465mm. all may be +/-10mm. The midwoofers are 165 mm on both front and rear doors on the Mk4. This is a pretty standard size, so many aftermarket speakers will fit.
