If, however, you’re looking for realistic combat simulation and a down-to-earth relatable story, you’re better off looking elsewhere. Thefamiliar arcade mechanics are still present, but the immersion is absolutely incredible. I truly hope they add more missions. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is one of the best games of the year and my contender on the very best of 2019. Its aerial arcade action is immense and the presentation is absolutely stunning. Aerialcombat has never looked or felt better! Project Aces aims to revolutionize the sky with this entry in the series, offering an experience so immersive it feels like you're piloting an actual aircraft! Weather and the environment affect your aircraft and the HUD, adding a sense of extreme realism never felt before in a flight combat game.
